Our cake!

This will be our cake, free with the reception package (saweet!).  No yellow roses, though, and the dots will be aqua.  I'm not sure how the layers will be split, but the flavors are white cake with strawberry filling, and chocolate cake with chocolate mousse filling. Yum!

Cake Topper

We weren't going to have a cake topper, just to save money (even just flowers were going to cost $60!), but my mom got us this ornament for Christmas, and I thought it was cute.  All we had to buy was the ornament stand!  She even has red shoes, like me :)

Table Numbers

At one point these were going to be on wires in part of the centerpieces (see pics of mock up), but they were kind of top heavy and covered up the flowers, so now they're just going to sit on the table right next to the silver tray.

This is our plan if the coordinator tells us they could blow away, glue some little stones to weigh them down! Hope it works :)

Table assignment poster

We couldn't do normal table cards on a table, because the reception is outdoors on the patio of the venue and the wind could easily blow them away.  The coordinator suggested we make a poster, instead, so here it is! I got it printed at Office Max (yay for having a 15% off coupon) in about 10 minutes, then just used double sided tape (my  new bff) to add the ribbon.  It will hang from a tree branch at the entrance to the venue.  I think it turned out pretty well!

Programs

I'm convinced that we will have the world's smallest programs.  They will be only a half of a piece of paper, folded in half.  At first I wasn't going to bother with them, but I got talked into it somehow and am now printing and assembling them less than 6 days before the wedding.  I have also bribed my bridesmaids with free dinner and wine to come help me cut them, fold them, and add the ribbon. Hopefully our guests will notice our efforts to save paper instead of calling us cheap.

I'm pretty sure you can't read much of them because they're kind of fuzzy, but the inside is very simple, just listing the wedding party, parents, grandparents, officiant, and musicians on the first page.  On the opposite page is the most simple, cut and dried version of a Catholic ceremony program you have ever seen (good thing we're not doing a full mass or I wouldnt' have had room!), and on the back are some notes thanking our guests, remembering those who couldn't be with us that day, and some more information regarding alternate routes to the reception due to construction and taxi company phone numbers for after the festivities :)

Photobooth guest book

Picture
We rented a photobooth for the reception, which I'm super duper stoked about.  I made this sign to put on the table next to the photobooth.  Also on the table will be 2 baskets of props (funny hats, giant bowtie, clown nose, etc.), different colored pens, and the actual guest book.  I'm in love with our guest book, made by etsy seller kateblocher, who was wonderful (click on the last picture to see her stuff).  It's blank (i.e. no lines) so there's plenty of room for guests to put one copy (the both prints out 2) of their picture in the book and hopefully write us a little note.
